| | Professional Background: | Prof Chan joined City University of Hong Kong as a Professor in 1996, where he is now a Professor (Chair) in the Department of Electronic Engineering and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Prior to joining City University, Prof Chan was an Assistant Professor from 1989 to 1993 and Associate Professor from 1993 to 1996 in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington; and also a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois from 1987 to 1989. |
