| Professional Background: | Dr Kwok received his PhD in economics from the University of Minnesota. Before joining City University of Hong Kong, he taught at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests lie in the areas of finance and macroeconomics. In particular, his current research focuses on the roles of the capital market and financial intermediaries. For example, his recent publication in the Journal of Monetary Economics studies the dynamic interaction between the capital market and the macroeconomy. | |
