| | Professional Background: | Dr Kwok holds a PhD degree in Information Systems from the City University of Hong Kong, a MSc degree in Information Systems from the University of Brighton (UK), a BEd degree in Education from the University of Liverpool (UK), and a certificate of education from the Northcote College of Education (HK). He was Assistant Professor in the School of Management at the State University of New York at Binghamton (US) before joining City University of Hong Kong in 2002.
Dr Kwok has research articles published, or to be published, in several international refereed journals, including: Journal of Association for Information Systems, Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of ACM, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Information & Management, Group Decision and Negotiation, International Journal of Information Management and Computers & Education. He has also published several book chapters, and a good number of articles in international conference proceedings such as Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) and IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Processing Systems (IEEE ICIPS). His research interests lie in the areas of technology mediated learning, fuzzy GSS, electronic commerce, leadership, and IS outsourcing.
Dr Kwok was ICIS doctoral consortium fellow (1998). He serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Information Technology Cases and Applications (JITCA). Dr Kwok has also served as ad hoc reviewer for international journals such as MIS Quarterly, Group Decision and Negotiation, and Decision Support Systems, and a number of international conferences such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), and the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS). Dr Kwok is a co-founder of the Asian MIS Professionals (AMISP).
