Abstract
Using advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) optimization and operations research (OR) techniques, our custom designed and built software applications help companies optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity, thus reducing the cost of operation. We have helped numerous companies in Hong Kong optimize their operations, ensuring their machinery, fleet, personnel and storage are operating at the utmost efficiency and agility, and responding to any change that may occur. The resource scheduling/optimization system earned the researcher the international "Innovative Applications of AI Award" in 1999 and 2000 from the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) for an airport scheduling system built for the Airport Authority of Hong Kong that automatically schedules parking bays for aircrafts based on a set of complex constraints, rules and parameters and a nurse rostering system developed for the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong that automatically assigns shifts and job assignments of nurses.

Applications
• airport stand allocation
• airport check-in counter allocation
• nurse rostering
• subway train scheduling
• container yard management
• air cargo terminal management
